SPECIFICATION – V1000 Suite – Mono Skin Fixed Louvre Systems – Tube System – TS
• The screen shall be produced in panels which will consist of the desired selected parallel blade type in a pitch width to provide the ideal shading requirement of the application.
• Flat bar blade widths of 40 x 3mm, 50 x 3mm, 60 x 3mm, 80 x 3mm and 100 x 3mm or a splayed blade in either 40mm, 60mm, 80mm or 100mm projections are clamped into a parallel frame which is joined with an extruded aluminium cross member at centres to reflect span and wind loading.
• The cross member comprises of a full length internal aluminium extrusion which has an 18mm outside diameter spacer inserted between the selected blade allowing the blades to be spaced at the desired distance to provide the optimum shading solution.
• The cross member is clamped at both ends to form the panel using a stainless steel fixing which screws into the core of the internal member.
• The outer spacing ring is able to also be cut at an angle to allow the system to angle the desired blade to provide access to winter sun while providing shading in summer.
• Panels are then attached using a range of fixing including either our 10mm diameter aluminium ‘J’ hook with a stainless steel Nyloc nut or our extruded ‘M’ style aluminium bracket which clamps over the blades to attach to the structural members.
• A custom bracket design option is also available from our in-house design team which is supported with the latest in CAD software.
• Aluminum sections shall be powder coated to AS3715-2002.
• Aluminum sections shall be anodised to AS1231-2000 and complies with corrosion resistance as per AS1580.457.1.
• All fixings, bolts, screws and pivots are manufactured from stainless steel.
• All plastic parts are manufactured from UV resistant HDPP (High Density Polypropylene) or similar.
